I absolutely LOVE photographing weddings! There is just something special about the love and excitement that is in the air on one of the most important days in a couple's life. Over the years, I have worked with many amazing couples and when I reflect on their wedding day, it isn't those romantic kisses or the beautiful details that come to mind - although they come in a close second! It's the way the groom starred at his bride with THE MOST loving glance amongst all the craziness of the wedding party formal photos. The way the bride's dad held back tears (or didn't) when he saw his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. The single tear that rolled down the mother of the bride's cheek as she watched her husband and daughter during the father/daughter dance.

I offer collections or we can customize one to fit exactly what you are needing. All my collections include a print and album credit, engagement session, a pre-wedding planning consultation and a reveal session where you'll see all of your awesome images and I will help you design your album.

I approach each session in a way that I create photographs that not only catch the most meaningful moments, but also to be a support to your ideas and desires for your photography. Getting people comfortable with me and my camera is a very important part of the process. I have great people skills, so making you feel at ease, finding your real smile and making a great photograph is what I do all the time. The bottom line is, I can edit out pimples and smooth skin tones, but I can't change your expression. I've been known to (and usually do) tell a goofy joke or say something silly in order to get a natural expression. My approach is fun and rarely posed. Portrait sessions are $275 and include a pre-session consultation, up to 2 hours capturing all of your beautiful images and a reveal/ordering session. Portrait collections start at $699.

After our consultation, we'll create a pinterest board where you can pin to your heart's content, all the inspiration for your shoot.
The day of the shoot, we'll follow through with action plan we created and inspiration we've gathered to capture your beautiful photos!
After the session, I'll spend the next 2 weeks (or less) editing your photos and putting together a digital gallery for your viewing!
We will schedule your viewing/ordering appointment and you'll pick out all your favs! Once you select your images, it takes approximately 2 weeks to receive your order.
How long have you been a professional photographer? I've loved photography for as long as I can remember, but started my professional career in 2008.
What equipment do you use? I'm a Nikon girl and shoot with professional grade camera bodies, lenses and external lighting equipment.
Do you travel for weddings or portrait session? Yes! I LOVE to travel and will go to just about any destination you envision! My rates for the event will basically be the same for local events, plus travel and hotel stay. Don't be afraid to ask about any location! I have my passport and would love to use it for your special occasion!
Do you recommend an engagement session? Absolutely! Engagement sessions allow us to build a relationship before the wedding. It will help us get you comfortable in front of my camera before spending an entire wedding day with me photographing you. It also helps you get a feel for my style of shooting. With that said, if for some reason we don't get to do an engagement session together, we will still get incredible images from your wedding day!
When will we see our images? Typically we will schedule your viewing appointment two weeks after a portrait session and 4-6 weeks after a wedding.
Do you offer albums and prints? Yes! You having something tangible to display and show your children and grandchildren someday is extremely important to me! I only use professional labs for my products to guarantee a product that will last for generations.
What should we wear to our portrait session? Above anything, wear something comfortable! I always recommend that my clients wear complimentary colors and it's usually best if you don't all match exactly. I also suggest that women not wear heels if at all possible as we will be walking a lot and possibly even in a field somewhere.
I'm ready to book! What is needed to reserve the date? I'm so excited to hear that! In order to book a portrait session, all you need to do is pay your session fee and return the signed contract. For weddings, you just need to pay a 35% non-refundable retainer and return your signed contract. It's that simple and I'm looking forward to working with you!
